A Hotel Kansas City Wedding — Lily + Max
Lily and Max traveled all the way from Texas to get married in Kansas City and I am SO honored they chose Hotel Kansas City for their wedding day and me to capture it. These two are the sweetest, most genuinely in love humans and being trusted with their day meant everythinggggg to me.
Hotel Kansas City — A Dream Venue for Downtown Kansas City Weddings IMO at least 😉
If you are looking for a downtown Kansas City wedding venue that is equal parts historic and breathtaking — Hotel Kansas City is IT. From the stunning Gothic architecture of the exterior to the moody interiors filled with arched windows, rich wood paneling and crystal chandeliers — every single corner of this venue is one of my favorites. I always feel like I can get the classic stunning photos we all want, but there are so many cool areas where light streams in just right for me to capture some dramatic lighting as well. And you know your girl LOVESSS light.

Wedding Party Portraits Outside Hotel Kansas City
We popped outside for a quick wedding party photo in front of the iconic Hotel Kansas City entrance and I loveeee how these turned out. The Gothic stonework and that iconic sign make for the most classic Kansas City wedding photo. My couple opted to STAY on site and avoid going around to different locations for shooting since HKC is so stunning. Honestly, it worked amazing!
The Rooftop Ceremony at Staright Ball

The Starlight Ballroom Reception
The Starlight Ballroom at Hotel Kansas City is absolutelyyyy stunning — soaring ceilings, elegant neutral tones, and the most beautiful natural light. The florals were incredible — lush greenery garlands with white roses and candles running the length of every table, and the most dramatic tall centerpieces overflowing with white hydrangeas and greenery. Black charger plates against white linens — classic, elegant, and so perfectly Lily and Max.

Lily and Max — thank you for letting me into your most sacred day. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and many more trips back to Kansas City! 🤍
